The TALAN

NLD refers to attention, language and neurodevelopmental learning disorders. They are disorders that result from atypical development of certain brain regions and whose first manifestations are noticeable in childhood.

NLDs are a subset of neurodevelopmental disorders, a category of heterogeneous conditions that affect 3 to 17% of individuals and result in deficits that can cause personal, social, academic and occupational limitations.
